Shine user Karin recently posted a plea for tips on cleaning miniblinds: She has plastic and metal blinds both in need of a little TLC. She does not want to go after them blade by blade with an old toothbrush (or anything else, for that matter). Lucky for her, Blinds.com has a list of care instructions for aluminum blinds, wood blinds, and fabric shades, and the easiest option, at least for Karin's types, seems to be to remove the blinds from the wall, soak them in a tub of soapy water, then rinse well and air dry.
