All right, I know what you're thinking: "Uh, hello, it's winter, no one is seeing my body for a good five months, what do I need body-fixing products for?" But seriously, hear me out. A lot of these products -- like miracle-working stretch mark creams and cellulite reducers -- take some time to work. So if you start using them now, then come spring you'll be looking fab from the neck down and ready to face bathing suit season with confidence (keeping up with your exercise and diet are necessary too, but I'll leave that to my girls over at Healthy Living).
So don't wait until the weather starts warming back up to whip your bod into shape, start now with these amazing products: Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (3) | Blog

Do you, like me, have a drawer full of sarongs to disguise your less-than-perfect thighs during summer? While they can be a cute fashion statement, we really shouldn't have to rely on them, right?
Luckily, we don't have to. I scouted out advice from the experts -- Howard Murad, M.D., dermatologist, and CEO/founder of Murad, Inc., and Ronald Moy, M.D., UCLA dermasurgeon and professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine -- to get the full scoop on cellulite and stretch marks. So here it is: what causes them, how to prevent them (if you're lucky enough not to have them already), and how to get rid of them. Think of all the space you'll have in your dresser when you can throw out those sarongs … Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (9) | Blog

Dear Product Fiends, I have a stretching / cellulite / unsure-what-it-is skin problem and I'm only a teenager! Across my hips and butt, I have raised lines that are darker than the rest of the surrounding skin -- they almost looks like scars. The marks are less than a pencil's width and are 1.5 to 2 inches long and spread across both my butt cheeks following the same pattern for the most part. I have a tan complexion and these marks are reddish-brown in color. I'm roughly 105 pounds, don't exercise actively, and I'm looking for a way to get rid of these marks. I'm very worried about them, especially since I live in an area where you go swimming everyday in the summer. I definitely don't want to go about wearing a bikini with marks like these. Do you have any products or exercises I could use to reduce or get rid of these? Thanks, Another self-conscious teen Read More »

Well every mom knows that after a pregnancy the skin on the belly becomes flacid and full of ugly stretch marks. This happens because the collagen fibers in the skin broke because of a sudden enlagement of the abdomen. To avoid these "scars" that won't let you... Read More »

So, it's been a little over 15 months since I gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl ever (yeah, I'm a little biased), and she's my first child. All during the pregnancy I applied Palmer's stretch mark butter twice a day, and saw no stretch marks for about 7 months. Then, all...

Let's talk about stretch marks for a second, okay? I've got lots of 'em. On my boobs, on my butt, on my gut and on my upper arms. Most women start getting them in their fourth month of pregnancy, but lucky me, I got my first one at the age of ten on what would become my least-favorite...
