    QUESTION:     We have an American Foursquare in Amityville, NY, and are trying to restore the kitchen to the way it was when it was built. Here's the problem: I would like to have an original gas stove from that era, and my partner (the cook) would like something more practical/safe like a new Viking. How can we come to a compromise?
