Grilled corn on the cob is the greatest summer food of all time, but the second greatest summer food is a beautiful rack of ribs. Generally, I like mine saucy and messy enough to cover you from chin to boobs in drippy barbecue goodness, but this recipe for dry-rubbed ribs, from Smitten Kitchen, may turn me into a convert to the southern-style, crusty, melting, spicy-sweet BBQ pork ribs that make me wish that it could be summer all year round.
