No one thinks twice about coffee as a drink, but add coffee to a food recipe, and suddenly the dish is considered exotic. The truth is, coffee's roasted quality, bitterness, and acidity make it a perfect complement to sweet, bold, earthy, or nutty ingredients, ultimately yielding a taste… Read More »

If you're anything like me, you'd love to just get and keep the skin you had in your 20s (well, minus the breakouts). Wouldn't it be nice, to never have a wrinkle or age spot pop up? Well, there are some serums out there (like these) that can get us pretty close.
However, many anti-aging products -- like the ones on this list -- frankly, don't do much at all (some of them even make things worse!). Check them out (click on any to see why they're terrible) so you don't mess up your progress towards that 20-something skin.

I'm thinking of starting my own beauty-themed comic book. The main super-hero: Eva Young. Her task: fighting wrinkles, fine lines and age spots wherever they may lie. Her sidekicks: these seven age-busting ingredients. Check them out below. If you have any skin issues, they'll come to your rescue (cape not included).

OMG. The beauty industry is getting OOC with the sun-protection acronyms. Here's what they all mean:
SPF (Sun Protection Factor): This one's been around forever, but it still confuses people, and it's not hard to understand why. What it actually means is that, with an SPF 15, for example, if you normally start to burn in 10 minutes without sunscreen, you can stay out 150 minutes (in other words, 15 times longer) and not burn. SPF refers only to protection from UVB rays, not UVA ones.
