Here's a little glimpse into my morning routine:
7:00 a.m.: Alarm goes off, hit snooze button, repeat until about 7:30
7:30: Lurch up in a panic because I'm already running late, jump into shower
7:45: Attempt to blow dry hair into some sort of presentable style, get round brush stuck in tangles
8:00: Finally free round brush from hair, finish drying
8:10: Start applying makeup, really running late now, in my haste accidentally jab myself in the eye with mascara wand
8:12: Remove eye makeup that was ruined by watering eyes (dang mascara wand), start over
8:20: Unbelievably behind now, finally finish makeup, try to decide what to wear
8:35: Run out the door (likely wearing two different shoes, oops)
Clearly something has got to change. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (10) | Blog

I've blamed bad hair days on everything from a crappy shampoo (like, ahem, this one) to a defective blow dryer, but some of you can just blame your whole frizzy head on where you live.
We scouted around and found the 13 cities where you're most likely to have bad hair. Why these? A toxic cocktail of humidity, pollution, sunshine, hard water and lack of hair salons put these towns on the map -- but not in a good way. Is your home on the list? If so, might we recommend this bad-hair-day fix -- or perhaps a good real estate agent?
No. 5: Phoenix, Arizona
Phoenix has the most extreme climate in all of America and hard water to boot! (Put moisture back into your hair with one of these hair masks.)
No. 4: Las Vegas, Nevada
While it may be a blast to have a debaucherous weekend in the "City of Sin," it's certainly no fun for your hair to live in this desert climate. Forget repenting for your gambling habit, you’ll be too busy praying for your sun-damaged hair. Take a cue form Nick Cage and LEAVE Las Vegas. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (150) | Blog
