After a chilly
weekend here in NYC, the gals over at FitSugar are
asking a
question that, to me, seems rhetorical - Do you crave fatty
foods in winter? My answer: of course! Winter months have me
wanting foods I usually steer clear of, such as crispy bacon, piles
of gooey cheese and cupcakes with miles of frosting.

I had
to dine solo tonight so I used my Griddler again to make a meal big
enough for just one. My "cooking" got started later than
I had hoped so instead of roasting red potatoes in the oven I
switched my starch to long grain wild rice instead. I had two
options, microwave quick cook (done in 90 seconds) or stove top
quick cook (done in 5 minutes) -- I chose the stove top option and
figured I would save the 90 second pouch for a night where I am
really behind schedule.
