On my counter right now is a bunch of bananas. I love bananas. I forget, when I buy a bunch of bananas, that I do not usually eat bananas in a very timely manner, and my relationship with bananas is usually one of regret, and guilt, and loss which magnifies every time I toss another bunch of mushy, blackened fruit that was once so bright and full of promise.
