And here you thought the 90s revival just meant seeing teenagers back in neon clothes and colored denim this summer! First came word that the CW was working on a 90210 spin-off. Now two big 90s movie franchises are on their way back to the big screen. Christian Bale (aka this summer’s Batman) has signed on to play John Connor in the next three sequels to Terminator. He is currently on set of the first film, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, set to debut on May 22, 2009. But will California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger take on the role of Terminator again? We doubt it. 1991’s T2 was the real smash hit—we don’t know anyone who even saw the third installment. Next up, comes the fourth sequel to 1993’s dinosaur extravaganza (and previously Michael Crichton’s novel) Jurassic Park.
