Etsy: The Paris Blues Bracelet ($50, poetsummer)

Etsy is clearly one of our favorite sites here on Shine. It is a wonderful online marketplace to buy and sell beautiful handmade items, from jewelry to clothing to unique items for the home. And prices are very reasonable. This gorgeous bracelet is by seller poetsummer, who says she "...started this piece with three colors of blue lamp work foil glass hearts and a big sterling plated heart in the center. I added a little Eiffel Tower charm at the extension chain and 8 photo charms of Paris set on sterling plated frames and covered in a super glossy professional finish..."

We've got little time and less money to shop this holiday season. So the more we can get done online and early, the better. Especially when there are sales and free or low shipping to sweeten the deals. We've rounded up some of our favorite online shopping sites, and some deals you can find on them to get the gift-giving season off to a calm, economy-minded start.

I knew you'd have etsy on your list. And the Flip video — I swear by that when I'm trying to travel light.

You can't go wrong with Marmot! I live in a sub-arctic climate & am their biggest fan. While the items can be spendy, they are an investment. They are well made & last years. =)

is THE best place to shop because they have thousands of stores that I normally drive to anyway AND I get cash back for ALL my purchases. I do most of my Target shopping there and try to find coupon codes for free shipping. You get $5 for signing up and for referring friends too. I've so far gotten $30 in cash back from stores like American Eagle, Target, Wal-Mart.

One of my favorite sites is www.DubLi.com. It's a "Reverse" auction site. Each time you bid on an item, the price goes down....instead of up! I'll send you FREE CREDITS to bid with just by sending an e-mail to tamimurphy@dublieagles.com. Put FREE CREDITS in the subject line. HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

The greatest gift exchanges require thoughtfulness, listening, and really understanding who another person is and what they like and need—that's what I always strive for in giving and it's the only thing I hope for in receiving.
