1. Instead of an innocent updo or a bunch of big curls (which
would be way too sweet with all that rosiness) the models' hair
was seriously bumped. See Petra's earlier post for
the deets. That's the great thing about running into
another Glamour beauty girl backstage—we can divide, conquer then
head back out to the tent to guzzle free McDonald's coffee
together.

2. The Sally Hansen manicurists didn’t play it safe with the nails.
They used a couple of coats of jet-black polish then layered a
sheer, glittery shade on top. I've been on a white nail polish
kick for the last few months, but seeing this made me remember why
black nails became a huge trend in the first place—it's so

York and Hidden Treasure launch next year so be on
the lookout.
Wearing the sexy-edgy black polish on is one thing, but taking it
off...here are some secret tips to help with that
process.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some pinks. But I think the tough-girl hair and nails made the whole look a little fresher. By the way, Charlotte Willer, global makeup artist for Maybelline, used Color Sensational Lipcolor in Make Me Pink on all 18 models, whether they were white, black or Asian, and it looked pretty on all of them. Call me a beauty nerd, but I get excited when I stumble upon a truly wearable makeup shade.
