At the salon, I had a conversation about this with the woman who was cutting my hair, and she told me a story about how she had all her shoulder-length hair chopped off into a Sharon Stone pixie and had it bleached blond. Her husband was so mad she slept on their couch for a week and he didn't speak to her for two more weeks after that. How horrible is that? Acting like he had some right over how she styled her hair and making that big of a stink about it! I wouldn't stand for that!
What about you? Would your partner be upset with you if you got a drastic haircut, or a new hair color? What about trying a whole new style of clothing, or changing your makeup look? What would you do if your partner got upset about your new look? Do you think your partner would have a right to be upset if you knew they didn't like a certain look and you tried it? Would you be upset if your partner tried a new look that you didn't like?

Report AbuseI hate to sound anti feminist here, but come on ladies if your man went all drastic on you, you would probably throw a b---- fest too. As sad as it sounds people are shallow creatures who fall in love with your looks, yes even you ladies have to admit that you do that too.
I'll be the first to admit it! I have a specific type of guy I adore- must have longish straight hair and must dress with clothes that fit him properly. Even if I loved him and was with him for a while and all of a sudden, he decided to go bald and wear super baggy clothes, would I be pissed?! Hell yeah I would, I would still care for him, but I would gag if I had to kiss him, sorry but I seriously dislike young bald guys. I would still talk to him and care, but the attraction would be gone, which meant I would really not want to kiss him or do any other stuff.
And that's why this is so unfair right?! I mean it's your body, but when you have a significant other you also have to realize that it was your looks that attracted him to you in the first place or vice versa. So if you plan on making any super drastic measures I suggest you talk to your partner before doing it, even if it is your body.
And if they refuse the change?! Try compromising, lol always works,I won't dye my hair blonde, if you do laundry from now on. lol.
