User post: Where have all the manly man gone?
user
OK now, what’s up with all the men today being either
Metrosexual or a Narcissist? Where have all the manly man
gone? Metrosexual is a neologism of the 2000s referring to
straight men who are obsessed with their appearance. In other
words they pretty much show traits stereotypically linked to gay
men. And the narcissist, a man so consumed with his own image he
drowned in it. Do they not have any friends to mirror back a
healthy review of themselves? Apparently not.
So let me be the one to tell all of you Metrosexuals &
Narcissists that we females are not interested in man who resemble
our gay boyfriends or man who look better than us.
Understood? For the sake of your manhood I hope so.

We are here. The media imposition, is not in control of defining who we are, should be, should act, or behave, or even think. We are here doing what we have always done. We are just being our strong selves, under control of our faculties, and learning more about this confident life that we are responsible for. We are here without any implication, of any over the shoulder, autosuggestive idealism, that a gay mentality may super impose upon the idealistic want of a grouping, to close the gap of conformity, or to reap an exploitive ideal that fits a hope. We are here for a sweet caring heterosexual coupling that is rich in its determination, soulfully inspired to create an inexhaustable unrequited romantic love situation, an the innovative spirited approach to accept the growth of whatever comes to her mind. Yes,..We are really here.

I kinda like a guy who cares that he looks nice, dresses nice and smells nice. But I have to admit that if a guy has more personal grooming products than me or if he asks me if his belt matches his shoes, it is somewhat of a turn-off. The best guys are the ones who keep it simple.

Tell women to stop going for these guys and you'll have all the manly men you want. Supply and demand

Its the kind of guys you go for or surround yourself with. I've been dating my current bf for a couple months and he in no way is narcissitic or metro. That's partly because I don't like guys like that. Yeah his hygiene is impecable and he always looks nice but he works in an autobody shop all day and is as mannish as they come. I stay far away from girly-men. I'm short so I like my guys tall, and strong.

Wow, that generalization goes wayyyy too far. All men? Really? Ever stop to think it's the company you keep or the places you frequent? Granted, these types of guys want all the attention but the rest of us who aren't self absorbed or superficial, are in plain sight to see.

To the author,
Stop your whining and put some effort into looking inside instead of outside, then maybe you can see beyond the superficiality that today's society has become so complacent with.
Cause and effect.

Why don't you stop telling men what to look/act like? Isn't it more important for them to simply be comfortable in their own skin, whatever that happens to be? If there's a specific type of guy you want, go out and find him instead complaining about men in general. Also, great job with the grammatical error: men. You sound so intelligent.
