The First Kiss

They rise and explode in brilliance  and rain down in colors of summer.  Blue waters break  over rocks, and we can't tell which ones are fish,  but we don't care. We slip and the water is over our heads,  but it is warm and inviting.  It's not like the cold rivers that steal  and drown the unsuspecting ones.  It's not like the bite of the bitter wind  on your lips and on your cheeks.  I remember how we shook,  like strawberries on the edge of the vine.  They fall and land in someone's arms and are savored like the last day of summer. I roll it around on my tongue and press it against my gums. Not the least bit will escape me while we bury our heads in the sand for a little while. No one can see us now. We are untouchable, like the sun.

    beautiful. but that's nothing compared to true love. first kiss ain't nothin. being honestly perfect for some one. that drives any one to tears. this is sweet. but a first kiss honestly isn't that good. being completely in everlasting love, long meaningful kisses, those are best. the kind of kiss that screams "i love you now and forever and i'm not letting go because you are my only love. you are perfect in my eyes. i can't take my mind off you. i want to better myself for you. i want to make your life good." those are the kisses that blow your mind.

    thank you for your wonderful comments! i really appreciate them. So turns out this first kiss is with the girl i am completely in love with. So much so I would die for her in an instant. I have kissed other girls but this one was completely different. It knocked me off my feet. I have always had words to say, sweet nothings to whisper into her ear, but this kiss left me speechless and shaking in the aftermath. This is what love and life is all about. Finding that one person that can make your heart quiver and your sun rise.
