Today was one of my off days, where I usually spend my time reading, cleaning or catching up on my missed TV episodes. But unlike any other day, I came across some video's on youtube. Now I know that I probably should have left it alone and avoided it, but many videos seemed interesting and many other videos seemed very very wrong. I have always been Pro-choice and thought that abortions were okay, but my best friend is about to become a mother and with that and what I have seen, I am not sure what my true opinion is.

So I took the initiative and wrote to the President. Oddly enough, the process was pretty simple, yet my question was far from it. Here is what I wrote...
Hello President Obama,
I would like to bring up a subject that may be controversial, but very important. My email to you today is about abortions. I have seen a few video's on abortions and a few on some of the press conferences you have been to.
I know that you have 2 girls, and I am sure you are well aware of what a blessing they are. You had stated that if your two girls were to get pregnant you wouldn't want them to be punished with a baby. My question and challenge to you sir is this:
You have made it known that you are pro-choice. This is great news for woman including me who want to be able to have choices on our reproductive health. However, I do not know if you have stated your opinion on long term, or later term abortions. This would be referring to abortions made after 3-4 months. One person had made a suggestion. You should go into a real clinic, and watch, in person, a real long term abortion be made. This would include an abortion where the woman is induced and births a live, real baby. If you still feel that this is an important thing to have for woman, then please share with the public your reasoning and experience.
In order to be fully experienced and have a true opinion on a subject, I believe that you need to witness it yourself. Do not be afraid or think that it is not important. Many many live babies are left to die in very cruel and inhumane ways. I challenge you sir to take a stand and make a choice for the greater good.
If you are able to respond it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your skills and intellect to make changes that will last us a life time.

So that was it. After seeing different comments and opinions, the one that stuck with me what this challenge. I know that many different things would have to happen in order for Mr. Obama to see an abortion be done, but it may make him think differently, or make him able to see a different side.
