An Ode to My Period

I realized something this morning. Getting your period every month
is the greatest thing ever (well at least when you're sexually
active). It's a free and natural confirmation that you
are not pregnant. I used to be like, "man, here comes the
fatigue and pain" but now I'm so glad when it comes on
time!!! And to commemorate its arrival, I wrote this blog lol!
Happy Period Day!

Yep, I feel the same way. If I miss my period a couple of days, I would wondering it's going to stop for good? I feel a sense of relief when it comes out. It's a confirmation that I am not pregnant or on menopause. But then it makes me worried because of heavy flow. I don't need a depend but a beach towel on the chair, sofa, and on my bed. It really makes a big mess. Sorry you don't have to hear this.

Hear, hear.
I still really wish I didn't have to get my period every month, but there's nothing quite like the peace of mind it offers - about my pregnancy status and my health in general.
