Want to know what love is?

As one of three girls, we were always daddy's Valentines.  He'd get mom flowers and chocolate, as well as special cards for all of us.  We were the "queen and princesses" of the day.  It was so cute to see that, though day is wheelchair bound and dealing with cancer these days, he still got a hold of my baby sister to make sure mom got her card, chocolates, and flowers today.  He even told her, "Go to the florist, not the grocery store.  Your mom deserves the best!"  He couldn't sign the card himself, either, but my mom was like a teenager today, she was so excited.  That's what love's about!  It put a tear in my eye to see that at almost 47 years of marriage, health and other issues at hand, love survives.

    Dear Teachergirl,

I can only hope that as my marriage gets older,we will not lose that romantic spirit. Valentines day is also our anniversary,so this year we had a late dinner. I was volunteering for the cancer marathon and

did not finish until 7pm.We went to my favorite restaurant and after dinner the waitress presented each woman with a long stemmed rose!!!! My anniversary present is a trip to Miami for the week-end. Love is such a wonderful thing!!!! Glad your parents have raised all of you to understand how important these little things are! To the "princess" of Shine.....hope you enjoyed my card!!!

    Blessings,love and hugs!!!!
