whatever is on your mind.
My Random thought of the day....
I really like Strawberries. Especially in the Summer when they are
all nice and ripe, I can eat them raw sometimes with a bit of sugar
or sometimes with other fruit like bananas and cantaloupe. I
remember one time when my family was living in Holland my dad's
parents came to visit after my youngest brother was born. Well
every Saturday they have open air markets in the local cities. A
place where you can find anything and everything you are looking
for, music, candy, fabric, clothes and fruit. Well we went with my
grandparents and we passed a vendor that was selling the most
delicious looking strawberries and the biggest an 8 year old has
ever seen... Well we were commenting on how big and red they looked
and the vendor gave me the biggest strawberry I have ever seen...
well for an 8 year old that is.... I ended up sharing it with my
grandmother who also loves strawberries.

Report AbuseOh ha ha ha... V... I was confused for a minute... V, I think you know... I just don't understand why black people are considered as turning their back on their culture because of how they choose to live or what they choose to think.... and before we get into a debate over it, I don't think I will ever understand simply because it's not my culture.... I don't understand why black women are lambasted for having straight or blonde hair either.... I just don't see it... and perhaps it's because I'm white and it's not my culture... but I just see these people at living in a way that makes them happy... but perhaps it's because I don't care if a black man wears a power suit and agrees with "the man"... and I don't care whether a black woman is sporting her natural hair or a weave...
I just will never understand, no matter how much someone explains it to me or I try...
