The curriculum and teaching methods adopted by learning institutions of today, as modern and as effective as they are, are still mostly based upon the tried and tested methods and strategies used in teaching and learning activities used in schools throughout the years.  The effective method of learning used in schools have been maintained expressly because they are effective, regardless of the numerous innovations and developments in the field of learning.  Many of these teaching and learning practices, however, tend to be rigid exercises and do not really allow for a lot of flexibility and adaptability to certain individual preferences, mainly because they were specifically designed to be taught in schools or in a similar classroom environment to a group of learners.  Most of these methods were also developed with the goal of teaching the group as a whole, or at least the most number of learners in the group, with no room for individual preferences or difficulties, inevitably isolating one or more participants in the learning group that may find the subject matter of particular difficulty.  This is partly one of the reasons why more adaptable and flexible learning techniques such as e learning were developed, to also facilitate better learning in those whose learning curve may not be the same as the greater number of people.  By providing people with the option of having a learning technique that allows them the ease and convenience not normally found in traditional forms of learning, people are more likely to be able to complete training courses with the same success rate as the rest of the participant who did not have any difficulty in the learning module.  Unlike traditional practices in academic instruction, which would require much deliberation and massive implementation when doing changes in the learning practices, instruction through e learning can be individually adapted to the learner to facilitate learning that is suited to the way an individual learns more effectively, whether in absorption rate or in needed stimuli.

The process of e learning is particularly effective in cases like this because it has the ability to immediately give out reflection and adjust needed items.  This is particularly important because the trainer or instructor is immediately able to ascertain the level of effectiveness of the e learning exercise, if at all, and if it is, the level of effectiveness that it imparts on the learner.  This practically gives the trainer an almost instant evaluation, rather than having to wait for the long term observable effect of the module.  Because the trainer can immediately gauge if indeed the training achieved the measure of success that was expected of it, the need for a trial and error phase is precluded, since the results are immediately evident, rather than having to wait and observe to see if the module was indeed effective.  This saves the company the potential hazard of having to discover that the training was far from effective the hard way, as when the results are seen in real time while the participants set about to implementing the skills they learned in the e learning exercise.  In case the exercise does indeed turn out to be less than impressive, or even downright erroneous and far from the projected outcome, this is easily rectified with no actual harm done to production and output, since the results are still entailed in the e learning phase and not in the actual work.
