Recipe swap!

user

One of my passion's is cooking and baking, so I thought it might be fun to share some of our favorite recipes.

This first one is far from homemade (which I usually prefer) but it's always a hit when entertaining.  My friends and family always request for me to make it, as well as ask for the recipe.  Now, it's not exactly what you'd call healthy, but since it's an appetizer, a few won't hurt, right?

DRUNKEN MEATBALLS

Serves 10-15
1/2 package frozen meatballs from Costco
1 bottle of beer
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 bottle of bbq sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 white onion (chopped)
3-5 cloves of garlic (chopped)

Stir everything but meatballs together. Place meatballs in slow cooker, add sauce mixture, and cook on high for 4 hours.

Sounds good! I love meatballs and I don't really worry about trying to be healthy. I'm sorry I wasn't around when you first posted... I have been in a frenzy trying to get things ready for the birthday party on Saturday. I'll probably blog about it later. Take Care!

Yeah, well, I didn't get much dusting done! I've gotta say goodbye for the day! Take care, Jen!
