You are over for feeling free, sexy and independent. You are thinking of doing something adventurous. Hey what about a tattoo? What do you think?

I see nothing wrong with tattooing over 40. It all depends on how you feel about it, not what someone else wants or thinks. Your opinion is the only one that matters

I'd say no tatoo, but I'm not over 40.

Go for it. Just make sure it's something you can live with and in a spot that isn't going to go east, west or south.

I do some different things myself

and am thinking a small tatoo.

    But that's pretty permanent.

    Probably not!

well im not one to really ask this question because we own a tat shop...lol and are opening a new one within a week or two.

but anyways i think any age is fine to get a tatoo. but i think tatoos should mean something or have some thought put to them. i wouldnt get a tat just because you want to do something adventurous. if you want excitement go skydiving! but any age is fine just dont get a tat because your feeling dead and lifeless and want to spice up your life. that is just stupid and you will regret it. so be smart!

I am about to turn 40 and see nothing wrong with it. As a few others have said, it's my body and I enjoy them. They are a benchmark of points in my life and have personal meaning to me. Besides, really, what has age got to do with it? It's about choice.

IDK, we over 40 already know how things tend to sag with age. I guess if you put it on the ankle or somewhere else that tends to stay where it's supposed to...... I personally would never get a tattoo but, I'm not adverse to someone else getting one. My thing is to change my hair color with my mood. To each their own!
