It Still Pays to be a Professional

Yay! A smooth transaction!!! A home I just sold in San Jose for $575,000  was a VERY smooth transaction. There were 5 offers and amazingly, we were NOT even the highest offer, but they went with us. The seller and agent told us that they liked our ‘package’ and felt most comfortable with us, even though we were NOT the highest bid. Apparently, professionalism still pays off. They remembered my clients from the open house and liked them a lot and they said I presented the offer and myself very well , our offer was very clean and well written, and just felt we were the way to go. I guess a couple of the other buyer’s agents were down right scary, that comment came straight from the listing agent.

Basically, everything during this transaction went smoothly from inspections to loan to closing. We closed in 21 days and the buyers are happily moving in to their very first home.
