Cooking with Wangethi Mwangi

user

My web searches take me everywhere.  Lately, I've been letting them take me to new places like cooking, recipes, restaurant reviews... leading me into new territory.  Other bloggers out there, like Wangethi Mwangi, are using the web to share their own recipes and cooking tips.  And his blog in particular caught my attention because of it's unique and unusual recipe content: Tanzania Chicken and Oysters Mombosa, anyone?

So, hmmm... Kenyan food?  I'll admit it's not something I'm familiar with.  However, as you probably know, I like to try new things.  Cooking Kenyan food most definitely qualifies.  So I find myself looking to learn more about Wangethi Mwangi, who spends his days as Editorial Director of Nation Media Group and his off-duty time as an avid chef and blogger.  Sounds like fun :)

Anyway, he sounds like the kind of guy who knows what he's talking about.  So I've fished through his recipes, taken notes on his tips, and plan to make my best efforts on some of Wangethi Mwangi recipes I've come across.  If my husband's up for it, we're having Kenyan Vermicelli Bread with dinner some time this week.
