A Little Life...

A little life has begun.
So tiny and so cute.
She has just begun to be apart of life.
Little one look around at everything.
The world is a big place.
So many things to see, so many things to learn.
What do you dream about?
Can it be, about when you are older?
Just wait till you walk.
Wait till you speak.
The world is so big and sometimes scary.
You are so little now, but one day that will change.
So precious you are, so much to teach you.
Watching you sleep, brings a smile to my face.
Even though you are still a baby.
You will learn new things as time goes by.
You are so funny, when you suck your thumb.
The faces you make when you are mad, makes me laugh.
A little life in the hands of people that care.
You are loved by many.
Many who will protect you from harm.
Trust is the key and you will learn about that.
Little one, there is so much for me to teach you.
I wonder what you'll grow up to be.
An artist, a singer, a musician or a poet.
Whatever you will be.
There will be many to support you.
For now, all will watch you grow.
Watch you learn.
Little one, you are very special.
You have a special place in my heart.
