Do You Try To Be a Bargain Shopper and Money Saving Websites

Ok Confessions time I am a fruigle shopper and natorius for buying things in pieces. What I mean is I always shop sales and only buy what I need and if it is for a larger purpose I buy items one at a time. For example, when I got married I bought everything for the wedding over 5mnths that includes the shoes and everything else. My husband and I plan to try to start for family in january but I am looking now. I already bought crib bedding for $50 that i found on ebay. If I dont have kids I can always give it to someone cause i am 28 and it seems like everyone I know is getting pregnant. The bedding is gender neutral. We will wait on furniture and clothes until the moment comes to start buying more stuff.
I also clip coupons and use money saving tips.

If you clip coupons try couponmom.com,the coupon clippers, the grocer game (has a fee), and manufacturers web sites. Remember you can print off the coupons online.

We all know the travel websites so I wont list them.

You can buy discounted resteraunt gift cards online at Restaurant.com. You can get a $25 gc for $10 and they have special deals on holidays. Ofcourse the selection of resteraunts are slim and  the prices vary. Beggers cant be choosers.
Coupons are at http://www.entirelycoupons.com/restaurants/

If you have a Sams card there is auctions.samsclub.com and its an auction and you can get stuff for cheap.

Buy furniture and appliances on craigs list and remember there also ebay and backpage.com

I had not heard about Restaurant.com - that sounds really cool. I hardly ever get to go out to eat, so yes, I fall into the "beggar" category - LOL!

It's good to start planning early for a baby, b/c they are very expensive. Although, I did get a lot of stuff from my showers (I had four). I didn't plan to have that many, but people kept asking if they could throw us a shower. How could I say, "no?" Seriously, we were very blessed.

The thing that really cost us is diapers and wipes! I can't wait to get my son potty-trained. I really could start any time now, but I am a little terrified of the whole process.

Yeah, let me know if you hear anymore about the swine flu vac. I'm afraid to be a guinea pig, too.

We have a houseguest this weekend (my husband's cousin), so I won't get to be online much.

Take care and have a great weekend :)

    Hi JoKTM....

Sooo, sounds like you are an intelligent, well organized person...When I was younger.....we won't say how long ago...lol but young girls, married or unmarried, started what was called "Hope Chests" yeh, a thing of the past. But a wise investment...It was used for many things, such as; a first apartment, a new marriage, baby-things, whatever the person chose it to be used for....I never had one..but I did store some things for the "Future" in my parents garage....and I did get that first apartment while attending college...so yes, buying items for the future is never a mistake...unless you have no intention to ever use them.....but be smart about your purchases. Just do so wisely...Way to go and hope you get lucky and get your way with starting a family soon! Best Wishes to you.....Janet

Hi Jo ☺ I'm not up to much. Haven't done much shopping other than the obligatory back-to-school stuff.

It's a beautiful day here. I'm in & out while I tackle the laundry.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Girl, my WHOLE house looks rough... but I've seen it worse so I can't complain! Between the husband, kidzzz and cat I need a maid! And while I'm at it, can I get a cook and chauffer too?!

Thank you for all of the potty training tips! I seriously needed them :)

My houseguest is almost gone - thank goodness! I know that sounds horrible, but he hasn't been the easiest one ever. I get the feeling that he doesn't really appreciate my cooking, his accommodations, and a LOT of other things. Lord, give me patience!
