But don't focus on getting rich. Focus on being money smart.
Education--Learn as much as you can about how money works, and how YOU work with money. Knowing your weaknesses is half the battle. Building your strengths is the other.
Automation--Trust technology. It's better at saving money than you are. Take advantage of every possible form of automatic savings, transfers, deposits, contributions, to ALL your accounts. Then, increase them a dribble at a time, until you're a Savin' Maven.
Elimination--Pare down your expenses as well as your spending habits. Really, you shouldn't make a habit of spending anything. Keep spending conscious. Having more money is a lot more fun than owning more stuff.
