Cheap Trick #7: Use framed artwork instead of an expensive headboard

Domino readers have come up with stunningly clever ideas for dressing up blank walls, customizing plain furniture, and camouflaging ugly appliances. Instead of investing in a headboard or bed for a children's room, hang artwork from school or framed photographs in a triangular pattern above mattress, box spring and frame.
