carbs...love them or hate them?

is it bad to eat alot of carbs? or by eating carbs can you even loss wieght?
let me get your in put....

    personally i love carbs i could eat them all day but just 2 keep them off i do sports like cheer gymnastix's & when i hang out with my friends sometimes some of me & the girls will play football wit the guys

    I just eat healthy overall - just a balanced, mostly organic diet consisting of protein, carbs, and fat. I'm trying to cut down on red meat, so I've been eating a lot of fish and soy products. I snack on fruits and vegetables all day - like at least five fruits like plum, apricot, peach, all carb. I'm easily taking in about 4000-5000 calories a day, but since I surf about three hours a day combined with an hour or two of other rigorous activities, I maintain very low body fat.
