Sunday. Don’t get juiced. Sip 12 ounces of water and eat a medium piece of fruit, like an orange, instead of drinking 12 ounces of orange juice.
Monday. Banish the bread. Enjoy your sandwich wrapped or rolled in a large lettuce leaf instead of served in bread, pita, or a flour tortilla.
Tuesday. Break your break. Divide a one-hour lunch into two parts: walk for 30 minutes of it. Bonus: it can help relieve work-related stress.
Wednesday. Get dirty. Plant some fresh herbs in your outdoor or indoor garden for 20 minutes. The herbs will also help liven up light meals.
Thursday. Cook away the calories. Spend 35 minutes making a healthy meal. It’s much tastier and better for you than greasy drive-thru dining or a frozen fix.
Friday. Straighten up. Clean your home for 25 minutes. Your place will look better--and you will, too.
Saturday. Shop till you drop (the weight). Go on an energetic 40-minute shopping spree for holiday presents. It’s never too late or too early. Head directly to the sales rack if you want an especially vigorous experience.
Follow. all seven of these tips and you’ll burn 700 calories and feel more fit and slimmer in just a week. Keep up your new healthy habits and you can be 10 pounds slimmer by this time next year!
Have a great time at the party!
