Would you rather: A boyfriend or a fried chocolate vanilla creme Pop Tart with Nutella?

My friend was just complaining about her newly vegetarian and overly weight-conscious boyfriend. "If he makes me go on one more silly hike or hit up another farmer's market for a single head of lettuce, I don't know what I'm going to do."

Keep in mind that she's a size 6. (Kate Moss, look what you've done to our society.)

"Every time I eat he says, "Quit while you're ahead!" And every time he says that, I want to eat a fried chocolate vanilla creme Pop Tart with Nutella on top." She said.

My slight attention deficit disorder kicked in with the image of a fried chocolate vanilla creme pop tart w/ Nutella. That sounded relatively creative and delicious.

So folks, what do you think? Does it sound good to you? Seems a little overly sweet, but nothing a glass of milk can't cure, right? Also, feel free to weigh in on how she should handle the beau. When it comes to this guy I say, "Go for the Pop Tart!"

I would like to eat a fried chocolate vanilla creme Pop Tart with Nutella WITH my boyfriend...Only if he promises not to lecture me about "we gotta start eating healthier, babe."

Hmm, naggy boyfriend or decandent treat? That's a no-brainer. But, once I ditched the unintentional "lifestyle coach", I'd have to throw a "key party" to decide between the pop tart, key lime cheesecake, Reese's peanut butter cup pie, or Tiramisu! (LOL)

Superficial. Do you want to be with a boyfriend who is worried about your looks and who may possibly dump you if you actually DID gain a few pounds? How stressful! I take personality any day. So...eat the poptart.

I don't think he is intentionally trying to be critical of her, sounds like he's having a hard time sticking to his new life style change and probably feels a little resentment towards her because she's able to eat all these yummy bad for you things, and resentment because she isn't taking his feelings into account when she eats that stuff in front of him. It's a simple solution, she just needs to be supportive and encouraging of her boyfriend until he gets over his hurdles so until then just eat those things when he's not around lol.

Set the boyfriend straight, and still enjoy the treat :) Any boyfriend that haggles you about this will only be worse as a husband.

I don't think it's fair for the boyfriend to expect your friend to exchange her own habits to accomodate his. He sounds really rude and inconsiderate, so I would choose the fried chocolate vanilla creme Pop Tart with Nutella on top!

That boyfriend sounds like a jerk. If I had the choice between him and the Pop Tart, the Pop Tart would win hands down!

He sounds like a butt hole! How can you tell a woman in a size 6, to quit while she's ahead? That's what cause most eating disorders, men! If he can't accept her for her size and that she likes to eat, kick him to the curb! Why stay with a man that says something about everything you do or eat? I hope she tells him about himself and if he doesn't like it? Oh well! Where did she find him anyway, and why has she stayed this long?

yea, he sounds like a typical vegetarian-preaching loser. tell him to mind his own business.

you should eat a big steak in front of him and then have a fried pop tart with nutella for dessert.
