The Best and Worst Batman Movie Villains

The Best and Worst Batman Movie Villains
From the sexiest kitten with a whip to the scariest joker in town, the caped crusader has faced down many a foe in the annals of Bat-history. We take a look at the coolest — and the most ridiculous. (Exploding shark, anyone?)

The Best Bat-Villains

1. THE JOKER

The murderous clown always overshadows the caped crusader. Jack Nicholson's gruesome approach in 1989's Batman helped erase the memory of Cesar Romero's camp 1960's interpretation, thankfully. Animation freed Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill to deliver the second-most memorable performance of his career in Batman: The Animated Series, which put him on the short list of actors considered for the Joker in this summer's The Dark Knight. But the role infamously went to Heath Ledger, whose take on this most psychotic of villains has spurred serious Oscar talk.

Hands down, Jack Nicholson is definitely the best at playing villains. The Joker in Batman and The Shinning, classics.

Joker #1 no contest, Though I prefer Burgess Merideth's Penguin to Danny Devito's Any of the Shumaker villians qualify in the worst category..Carrey's Riddler included.

The best of course is the Joker. the WORST was Two-Face played by Tommy Lee Jones. I do NOT own a copy of this movie just because he played Harvey Dent. It reeked sewage. Now Arnold was funny as Dr Freeze...but they could have picked a better guy to play him. I always felt that Jeff Goldblum could have been a great Joker.

the worst would be Freeze and poison ivy from batman and robin. They should have thought through that movie before playing it

watched Heath as the joker last night he was absoultley amazing, his voice, hair, makeup, everything about it was awesome. It sucks that hes gone and wont be in the next movie, because he sent chills down my spine, also he transformed for this movie i actually believed everything he was saying it was captavating.
