Would You Spend $7.50 On Emergency Undies?

What: Flingz
Ultimate Thongs, 3 for $18 or $7.50 each
Why: Flingz thongs bill themselves as the
ultimate underwear for women on the go… they even come individually
packaged in a small, reusable ziplock bag, making it easy to tuck
them into your work tote, gym bag, car glove box, clutch or
anywhere else that you can think of.
We thought $7.50 might be a bit much to spend on a pair of
emergency undies, but they're extremely comfortable since
they’re tagless and have thin, flat elastic that doesn’t show under
even the most figure-hugging dress. The material is also
lightweight enough it can be hand-washed and will dry overnight -
so you seriously only need to remember one pair, and you're
safe. So even though they fold up into a tiny little pouch, they
still qualify as regular, wearable panties in our book.
Would you buy a pair?

How is this different from folding up a pair of panties from your bureau, sticking them in a small make up tote and tossing that into your purse, tote, or office drawer? What a rip off and as soon as someone famous references them, the product with suddenly be the next best thing.
What a joke.

I always wear cute underwear anyways! It makes me feel good and confident and I won't be worried in case of an "emergency".

Ummmmmmmmm......... now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't an "emergancy" unplaned? If your carrying these it seems to me your planning for it. I personally either buy a cheap pair in some store or go commando... it's cheaper then 7 dollars... and I can keep using the underwear (if I bought some) after anywho. This is clearly a rip off.

Judging from the name "flingz", the emergency panties are probably for the one-night stand flings, or something of the sort. If you're into that sort of thing, bring your own panties in a ziploc bag. Save the $7.50 for the Starbucks run the morning after. :)

The only person I carried emergency underwear for was my son when we were potty training!

I'd rather go commando than buy emergency undies. It's rediculous what manufacturers try to tell us we "need" f them

what is the point? just use a pair of your own thongs and save the money. it is not like these are magical or something.

Hey,some stores charges you $15 dollars for one so it's not that bad and looks pretty good too. An emergency is if u're working in a medical field and they mandate you to work an extra shift when someone calls in sick, so it could help or u can carry your own.
