Where do you buy your jeans?

After years of randomly stumbling upon pairs of jeans--either because a friend didn't want them anymore or they were on eBay for $13.99 and somehow fit or there was one weird style left at the bottom of the discard pile at Urban Outfitters--last year, I invested in my first real designer jeans. And I have lived to regret it.

How often do you fail with online vintage?

It wasn't the denim's fault, it was my own. I'd been so excited to just go crazy and spend $257 on something fancy, that my heart was racing and my reasoning was blurry. This was the definition of an impulse buy and I chose all wrong: A high-waisted, slightly-belled style that looked great that one miracle-skinny day in the fitting room, but, ever since, have rendered me a sausage-y, '70s, Farrah-gone-wrong.

Tips for looking your best in jeans.

So, now I have cold feet. And the crotch in my favorite skinnies has gone out, and my black stovepipes have long become a faded-in-the-wrong-places gray and I just need new jeans and I don't know where to turn. Ideally, the new ones would be cool and great-fitting and boot-cut-ish and dark and not too expensive and last me 3 million years. Anyone know where to find such a magical item? Or, at the very least, tell me: What's your favorite denim source?

The best places to shop for jeans on the web.

Honestly, I still buy mine at old navy... they serve my purpose and they are the only ones the fit me decently... BUT if I were to spend a bit extra (because in my world $60 is an expensive pair of jeans) I would go to the buckle because those jeans fit me REALLY well.

My favorite place to buy jeans is NY & Co. They fit me like a glove! I don't even have to try them on anymore because I know what my size and fit are and they last forever!

Old Navy and Maurices fit me best and they are cheap. Once in awhile I'll get jeans from Gap. Though my favorite pair I found at KMart for $6!

I agree with Katie B, Old Navy jeans are my quick go to for skinnies. The Diva Skinny jeans they offer fit well and for the price ($29.50) you can't beat it.

The GAP has great boot cut jeans... for around $60.00.

If you want cheap, cast Iron, long wearing jeans with a little bit of stretch? The Levi's signature brand from Wal-Mart... Seriously.. Wal-Mart. The rise isn't too short or too long and they have a great boot cut...and they are CHEAP!!

Express has the best jeans that are not too expensive but are still made well. The 1969 Gap jeans fit great too!
