When Curling Irons Attack ... and other STUPID beauty accidents

Check out how I burned my arm this morning on my curling iron. Stupid, stupid. Then I used this eyeliner, which I forgot kinda-sorta gives me pink eye every time I wear it (but it's too pretty to chuck). I'm already starting to itch.

While nowhere near as catastrophic as these beauty mishaps, I've gotta wonder who else out there has hurt themselves in a stupid beauty mishap?

Oh no! Once I burned my little sister's back on accident (she's 6) when I was curling her hair. Now she never lets me near her hair!

Yeah, I did that on my face last week...I forgot that I'd burned myself and spent most of the following day wondering why that bedsheet mark was so darn persistent...

This beauty mishap did not happen to me, but to my best friend in high school. She was adhering fake nails with crazy glue and some of the glue dripped on to the palm of her hand. When she put her hand to down to get up from her bedroom floor she glued herself to the carpet and had to wait for almost an hour for someone to come home and cut her hand from the carpet. She had a horrible burn on her hand from the glue!

Last summer I was in a wedding and the lady that was doing my hair burnt my forehead. If it was any other day it woudldn't have been so bad. I was like oh come on I have pictures in an hour.

My daughter left her curling iron on her bed. I didn't see it and lied down on it. I burned my arm. It was very painful. The doctor told me there would be no scar because the burn was superficial, but after almost a year, I have a brown line just like the one you show in red. I have a dark thick line in contrast with my very fair skin it looks lovely...NOT!
