What's Your Favorite Flatiron?

The two adjectives that best describe my hair are "lank" and "spiritless;" thus, I've never had occasion to truly test-run a flatiron. But I now have new information from not one, but TWO reliable, independent sources, both lifelong flatironers: Of all the irons in the land, the GHD iron is the very, very best. It works better than anything else for both straightening and curling, they say, and it heats up in, like, 2 seconds; that said, it is not cheap ($225)—but neither person regrets the investment. So: Are my sources correct? Are they spending foolishly or styling wisely? WHAT IS THE BEST FLATIRON EVER?

Used to need a flatiron but don't anymore?  Has your straight hair turned curly?  Are you the victim of a hair conversion?

seriously if you have thick, frizzy, wavy or curly hair you NEED to buy the BaByliss Nano Titanium. Turn the heat up all the way (I think its to 450 degrees) and it's works AMAZING. Not only does it only take 20 minutes to straighten (and I have A LOT of hair) when it gets muggy - or even rained on! - you won't see it frizz. It's absolutely amazine!

I've owned a Sedu & a CHI. I like the Sedu better. I want to try GHD next.

I have a fairly cheap one- it's a Bedhead Flatiron- that only cost me about $40. I really love it; it's never burned my hair like the chi did. It really depends on your hair type.

My CHI makes my hair amazingly soft and silky... I wouldn't go more expensive than that... and I always buy them on ebay... saves you like $30

i have a straightener called turboion. it's made with titanium plates so it burns your hair less. & it keeps your hair more healthy than chi's ceramic plates. it cost around $400 but i bought mine brand new on ebay for $165 I think.

Maxiglide is the best one. The straightening pins make it cut half the time n it works hella good. I've had it since 04 n when I broke it I bought a new one it's that good.

I LOVED and miss my Babyliss. I was depressed when my sister burnt it out by leaving it plugged in. :'( It's been gone for almost a year now. I feel sad when I think about it. I have some Korean flatiron now. It's still good but not AS good as my Babyliss I feel.
