What is the craziest thing you ever wore?

This morning on my walk to work I saw a great
Patrick Kelly dress in a
store window
(he was the designer I worked for in Paris when I was in college) and
it reminded me of this time when he told me I should try to be
"
sexier." Patrick's clothes were either skintight or completely
oversized. Not being one to flash my
curves back then, I would only
wear the oversized clothes, so Patrick once dared me to wear one of his
super-tight
leopard-print halter-top unitard
pieces to the airport to pick up my boyfriend. I remember my heart
racing from wearing something so "not me" and it didn't get better: My
boyfriend broke out into laughter when he saw me (so not encouraging!).
What was the
craziest outfit you ever dared to wear? Would love to
hear!

Leopard print harem pants, gold sandals, black top, big gold hoop-earrings,1987-88? I remember when while I was out, I caught a glimpse of myself and just cringed. From then on, it was "Less is more"...
That mention of Patrick Kelly is sweet. I have fond memories of his fashion.
