What are your BEST personal beauty secrets?

We've all got
them, our magical solution to get rid of acne, or the lipstick we
swear by. Add some of your best in the comment box to share with
all our fellow Shine readers. <3
Mine:
...1) For always soft moisturized lips: take petroleum jelly (more
commonly known as vaseline) on a toothbrush. Using the toothbrush,
massage the vaseline into your lips. This will keep them
moisturized and soft for days, I swear.
...2) For whiter teeth: Mix Hydrogen Peroxide (it's not toxic!)
with baking soda. Leave the solution to the side. Then put regular
toothpaste on your toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush (with the
toothpaste on it) into the solution and brush your teeth! In about
3 days (as long as you brush twice a day) you should see a
difference.
...3) For a tanner face: I learned today (and im wearing it right
now) how to make the perfect customized bronzer with easily
accessible ingredients. Just mix your powder foundation or face
powder (you know, the kind you used when you were pale) with a
little bit of unsweetened cocoa powder (if you dont have some, I
guaruntee either your mom or grandmother does. it's used alot
in baking) and some dark pink blush. This will give you, through
expirimentation the perfect shade without looking dirty, or
organge.

mix some colorful eyeshadow w/ clear mascara and brush onto eyelashes for colored mascara
use clear mascara to tame unruly brows
use a skin-clearing foundation, one w/ salicylic acid

Add water.......
add a little water to your eyeshadow see wat it does!!!!!
the water will dry back up so its not wet forever <3

put foundation on first...
if your like me and love eyeliner maker sure to putit on first.you can fux ant problems with your compact powder without over doing your eyes..

I am very self conscious about my face because I have rosacea/adult acne..
..if you brew a hot cup of green tea, let it cool for a few minutes, then dip a cotton ball in the tea and rub it all over your face, it relieves some of the inflamation and even reduces some of the redness!!!

find an oil free sunscreen like Aveeno and put it on your face every day.
if you have breakouts try to wash your face with less chemicals, like just a Dove bar.
and eyelash curlers make everything better lol.

Primer on the eyelids. L'Oreal has Decrease and Benefit has Lemonaid. Keeps stuff where it ought to be and out of my contacts. Also, worked from the inner corners out, it makes you look more awake and just fresher somehow.

instead of using your finger to rub your foundation to the dark undercircles of your eyes, try using your ring finger and using a rolling motion, so it will fill in the creases more consistantly
and white eyeliner pencil applied to the water line (above the lower lashes) is a safe and easy way to make your eyes appear larger!
as far as a iknow it shouldnt cause any odd bodily reactions lol

if you want the flawless skin w/o the look of foundation build-up, mix your liquid foundation with a pea-size amount of moisturizing lotion. believe me, you would even forget you have on make up!!

For your BEST lip color. Match the color to the inside of your lip. This will look very natural and sexy, the same color as when your lips are flushed.
