The semi-annual Victoria's Secret sale is SO on!

I spent yesterday at home, writing, in an oversized Thrasher Magazine hoodie (ummm, I've never been on a skateboard) and some Lululemon Groove Pants, which are finally available online. Not a sartorial high point (though I would also argue that Lululemon yoga pants are almost citified enough to work as normal clothing...maybe?). And so, late in the night, as I was climbing the walls, I found myself clicking over to Victoria's Secret to comb through their semi-annual sale. Granted, their models can really sell it, but I always end up wanting bras that I know I'll never wear (I'm into pretty basic, t-shirt appropriate styles). Maybe it's because I've felt like a slob all week, but I bought SIX different lace-bedecked versions, including this one here. But regardless of your particular affinity, there's tons on sale (including aforementioned t-shirt bras), plus loads of nightgowns, like this pretty cotton chemise ($30!).

The 12 pieces no lingerie drawer should be without.

I have tried twice to order from the catalog only to be told each time that they are all out of DD bras. (2 different styles) WTF? Really, you have a sale and have no bras for a particular size? That is just crazy.

Hi Elise, if you want REALLY good deals on VS things, try this place called MJR. I live near alot of Limited warehouses, and this company gets a bunch of stuff from them. They used to do these great 'bag' sales were you could stuff a bag with as much as possible for one price, but they have a outlet and online shopping now. But still have great deals.

VS bras are the absolute best. I never wear another brand. Being out of specific sizes is a bit disappointing - but stop and think - the prices are outstanding so I imaging they get sold out quick.

How amusing--Shine removed my comment from this post, and I said nothing nasty about any of the posters. Just commented that VS' quality was questionable, as did aaru...

...OH, but I also noted that it was unlikely that very many millionaires actually want to meet the gold diggers that would visit affluentmeet.com. That must be the no-no...well, at least now I know why Shine keeps letting their ads into the comment boxes, no matter how irrelevant.

I got hooked on VS bras for awhile, but they don't hold up in the long run. I'm careful when I wash them, and they never go in the dryer. They look pretty at first, but they're not holding up well.

Vanity Fair and some other lesser known brands seem to hold up much better.

I think they are waaay overpriced and overrated. Their bras always seem to fit abit off and their bathing suits are expensive but not worth the money for the quality

I love Victoria's Secret, they have the best bras out there! well at least bras that suit me. I don't think they are overrated. You know, there is such a thing as being a snob against better brand clothing. If you can take advantage of the sales and get a good deal, then why no buy at VS?
