Riva Irons: The secret for sexy, wavy hair
partner
When we arrived at the shoot for our
August pedicure story (see page 112), entrepreneur
Tove Nord
was having her hair done. "She whipped out this great jumbo iron and
told me exactly what to do," said shoot stylist Lisa Trunda. "You wrap
random sections throughout the hair for a
wavy, undone look."
"I have four of these Riva irons!"
said Nord. She keeps one in the bathroom of Tuccia Di Capri, her sandal
shop in Miami; one at home; one at her café in South Beach, Maison
d'Azur; and one in her restaurant in New York. "Even if I'm wearing
jeans, that one touch leaves me dressed-up enough to feel
polished—without looking like I've actually done anything."

So---are we supposed to be able to visualize what random sections of hair means and wrap??. Wrap what? Around a curling iron? Short, long, mid length. I thought I would get some help here, after digging deeper into the article, it was a waste of my time and now I am waisting my time writing this to comment on a waste of time.

WTF??? Where is the advice in this? A picture would probably have helped, or at least an actual description of what you mean by random pieces and wrap. Oh, an how big is this "jumbo iron"? Once again, a picture would be great. I have the sneaky suspicion that this was all just a ruse put on us readers so that someone could name-drop as much as possible without actually having to explain anything or do any real work. Gee, thanks a lot.
