New in stores: Five smart new products to make your beauty routine easy

Maybelline New York the Colossal Volum' Express Mascara
Thanks to its oversize applicator brush and a collagen-laced formula that increases the fullness nine-fold, this mega-plumping lash enhancer takes "volumizing mascara" to a whole new level. In Classic Black and Glam Black (a deeper, more intense noir).

Price: $7.47

Available at drugstores.

Sebastian Professional Whipped Crème Light Conditioning Style Whip
The company's six haircare collections are being relaunched under a single brand made up of reformulated classics, plus a slew of new offerings. This light conditioning and styling whip contains a mix of nourishing, moisturizing, and frizz-preventing ingredients to boost ringlets better than the fluffiest mousse.

Price: $18.95

Available at salons www.sebastianprofessional.com.

Talika Eye Dream
This magic wand of a mask delivers a targeted dose of moisturizers, botanicals, and peptides to rejuvenate a dull-looking eye area. Apply it before bed and wake to the picture of perkiness.

Price: $55

Available at www.talika.com.

MD Skincare EZ4U 4-in-1 Facial Treatment
The latest skincare breakthrough from the New York City-based derm delivers the benefits of four complexion essentials—cleanser, toner, wrinkle fighter, and moisturizer—in a single handy, pocket-sized towelette. Just swipe and go. In Dry/Normal and Normal/Oily.

Price: $35 for 30 applications

Available at www.mdskincare.com.

PerriconeMD Cosmeceuticals Light Renewal Skin Rejuvenation Therapy
A background in biophysics might help to understand how this use-at-home, hand-held, light-emitting diode (LED) unit makes use of visible red light and near-invisible infrared light to smooth away lines. Thankfully, it doesn't take a Ph.D. in the subject to appreciate the results: 83 percent of users in 9- and 12-week clinical trials reported improvement in the appearance of their fine lines and wrinkles. Class dismissed.

Price: $335

Available at the PerriconeMD Cosmeceuticals Flagship, NYC, and exclusively at Sephora.

And just look at the price tags on these wonder treatments!! The Talika Eye dream made me smile. After just one night, I would be "the picture of perkiness"!! Yeah, right. And I have a diamond mine in the middle of the Mississippi I can sell you real cheap.

Ladies, stay with your Ponds and Maybelline.

When are women going to wake up and stop spending so much money on this garbage..sheesh. And how exactly were these outrageously priced products (except the mascara) going to "simplify" my beauty routine.

This article was a shameless plug for expensive products pure and simple.

I love makeup and I would definitely buy that mascara from maybelline. I love it. I need a simpler way for my makeup. Gosh, it takes like 5 minutes to do mine. Why not make it 2minutes? LOL!!!

This article does not help at all. I already have enough expenses and buying this crap would cause me to go broke.

Stick to the cheap stuff ladies!
