GET RID OF HYPERPIGMENTATION FOR GOOD

As with all women of color, with time I started to develop hyperpigmentation around my nose, eyes and forehead.

This is what the dermatologist told me. Only way to stop this and make this fade:
1. retinol cream on a regular basis.
2. really high spf lotion in the day time.

Retinol - can be gotten from the doc by prescription.

I went ahead and got this sunscreen and I am using it regularly.

It is kind of expensive but it is a large tube so it goes a long way. It is SPF 60 so its super protective.
Available at CVS pharmacy for about 32 USD.

I found that in the last month my pigmentation really has dramatically reduced. This one is awesome. No white residue , no cakiness, and truly like the name, melts into the skin. I feel like my skin even feels moisturized. I actually skip the moisturizer each morning.

Try it, its awesome.

    Hi Fashion Blogger,

As another woman of color, I worry about hyperpigmentation too! I started using La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Moisturizer this year and have always been tempted to try their sunscreens. I know their sunscreens contain Mexoryl SX which is a unique organic UV filter, but I was worried that it might leave an unattractive white residue. It's reassuring to hear that this product has your seal of approval. Thanks!
