Last night I went to amazing fundraiser for the Robin Hood Foundation. They raised 56.5 million dollars in
one night. It was unbelievable. The invitation called for "festive attire" but the majority of women wore black - surprise, surprise. When I think festive, I think sparkle, color - decorated clothing, not somber workwear.
Shakira performed with John Legend and I swear they were in love
(though they probably are just great performers). I have never seen
anyone shake it like Shakira - it was a cross between belly dancing and
pole
dancing (without the pole) and all of the men were mesmerized.
Everywhere I looked I saw supermodels from Karolina Kurkova to Liya
Kebede. Conan O'Brien was there and so funny as was Diane Sawyer who
looked gorgeous as usual. All in all it was a fantastic night with
great friends for a great cause.
