The Best Places to Shop for Vintage Online.
The news isn't all bad, though. Of the 70, I found this, this, this and this (and, if you're not feeling risky, Buy It Now this), and while the bidding is pretty heated, I'd guess you could declare victory on each for less than $100. It's not ideal, but better than the quality/price you'd get in a regular store, and that, my friends, is ultimately (still) eBay's greatest charm.

Report AbuseOMG I won a leopard print coat on eBay like 6 years ago. The woman who was selling the coat bought it in Paris while on a trip with her French class in 1969!! It has become one of my signature pieces. Oh and I won the auction at around $45!!! HOLLA!!

Report AbuseI am a seller on Ebay and you can blame Ebay for the higher prices. They have changed the feedback rules to hurt the sellers while raising the final value fees . They expect us to pay for shipping too and that's not cheap. They are killing what used to be a good site.

Report AbuseI hear a lot of complaining about ebay from my mother. She loves ebay but it's getting harder to find good stuff.. especially with so many things, and she says shops are confusing. Now her new thing is ross, so I am getting her cold hard cash for her b-day so she can thrift shop for the day, from here: http://www.mediancs.com/rd_p?p=191614&t=9534&a=25081-scash&gift=25081
