Does a Chi hair straightener really work that much better than other flat irons? Does it hold the straightened hair better in humidity? I want your opinions before I invest in one, since I do have other flat irons already.

Report AbuseI don't think you should buy a CHI, it really isn't THAT great... the GHD is a little more but it is proven to be better and faster to heat up than the chi. Youtube tutorial hair straighteners

Report AbuseI have a lot of volume to my hair after I blow dry and it it is pretty curly when i dont brush it and its very thick and the Chi does not work on my hair as good as I thought it would. I know there is a conair one that works much better and is a lot less money.

Report Abusethe CHI works well for my hair, which is colored, thick, and annoyingly puffy. It always leaves my hair nice and straight, almost looking like commercial-hair.

Report AbuseI LOVE my CHI!!! It makes my hair silky and super shiny. I am African American with a lot of thick hair and it works great. I have tried other irons and the pulled and snagged my hair. I am amazed at the results everytime.
