The first box left my tips looking gray so I put on another kit. Now I'm a Raven. My question to my fellow shine users is this:
What products work for dyed dark hair?
(and to embellish this)
I have short frizzy hair,
I want to keep my dye job the jet black it's supposed to be,
I need to know what shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatments, glazes etc etc are going to work best for my new black dye job.

Report AbuseI just bought an inexpensive conditioner at Wally World called Cabellina it is a conditioner that was created for horses hair but it works wonderful on human hair, it has pretty much all natural ingredients like olive oil, and it is extremely safe on color treated hair. It made my hair so soft and shiny, I really reccomend this conditioner! Anything that can soften, manage and thicken a horses hair is some good stuff!

Report AbuseRemember dying your hair is basically covering up your natural color so if its a permanent color you will need to dye your hair about every six weeks or so. Waiting a couple of days inbetween washings is a great way to keep the color sheen if you can tolerate not washing your hair for a few days! I think loreal makes a rinse that keeps your locks looking great! It may be John Freida though! I bought some when my hair was honey blonde and it worked pretty good, my hair is really dark now, because I just colored it Golden Brown and I'm trying to keep my color sheen too! Good luck!
