Anyone remember pearl cream?

I was testing out Carita's new Pearl of Youth Serum, a highly-perfumed, oddly sticky concoction made of real pearl powder and enhanced with a cocktail of phytokine (soy protein), vitamin C and radiance-boosting peptides that costs a whopping $142.00. Perhaps its cumulative effects are insanely effective--in clinical trials volunteers aged 40-50 reported a decrease in wrinkles by 23 percent--but for the money, I would advise buying a less expensive and more glow-inducing serum such as Ole Henriksen's Truth Serum (me and David Bowie swear by it!).

Still, it reminded me of something I couldn't quite place my finger on until it hit me: PEARL CREAM! Do you remember those commercials? Some of you younger kids out there might have no idea what I'm blathering on about, but for you golden oldies, here's the video to jog your memory:

"My grandchildren think I've had a facelift!" HA haahahahahah...

Actually, I got curious and wondered if you can still buy this "miraculous" gift from the Orient. I found Jenju Pearl Cream at Skinstore. Think this is the same stuff? All I know is, it's cheaper than the Carita stuff, and probably less sticky!
