Agyness Deyn (and maybe Adriana Lima) head to the big screen: Can models act?

Bleach blonde British model Agyness Deyn has had a quick ride to the top, already being featured on the cover of American, British and Italian Vogue, and inked promotional deals with Burberry, Anna Sui, Shiseido, Georgio Armani, Paul Smith, Reebok, Vivienne Westwood, and Jean-Paul Gautier, to name a few. She dated a famous rocker, Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, and even attempted singing herself, providing vocals for "Who" by Five O'Clock Heroes. And since she already has a stage name (she was born Laura Hollins), Deyn has decided to try acting. She's set to co-star in a short film directed by Peter McGough alongside Linus Roache of "Law & Order."

On that note, Woody Allen is said to be writing a part for Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima for his next film, which will take place in in Rio De Janeiro. Apparently he's "fascinated" by her beauty. Didn't he say the same thing about Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz? At least those two have proven they can act.
