What Do You Wear When You Ride a Motorcycle.........?
I know it's an odd topic, but there is definitely a stylistic side to motorcycle attire.
I like the “Barbie Biker” look T.R. Annie shows here - it lets you show your own feminine style of biker dressing. Many women think you have to dress like a tough girl in head to to black, Harley Davidson attire (which is in itself a style), but I found the more I got into the sport, the more I realized that it’s only the beginners that dress that way. it may sound funny, but I love to be able to get off my bike and feel like I’m still me and not this alter ego.

Where and how do you like to put on your makeup........?
T.R. Annie is shown in the picture putting on her makeup essentially nude. I like to put on my makeup in the nude, which can be kind of inconvenient when I need to put on makeup in public. Does anyone else like to put on their makeup in the buff..........?

Ballerina buns are one of Spring's biggest hair trends.
Now, these aren't the super slicked, ear-pulling buns you paired with white tights and pliés in your childhood ballet class. The buns we saw on the spring runways were very "I don't care," worn, we imagine, by a slacker ballerina who's late to practice because her motorcycle broke down.
They're perfectly imperfect, full of "wispy imperfections" as lead hairstylist Anthony Barrow told us backstage at Charlotte Ronson. See T.R. Annie's rendition fo the ballerina bun to the left. She wore the hair style last night to the premiere of 'The Box' in New York City, with the typical face-framing wisps of hair. Which works, because the great thing about subversive ballerina buns is that there are no rules.
So what do you think of the ballerina bun.....?
Invest in some bobby pins and practice your rusty bun winding techniques. You're a ballerina, and you're bad to the bone. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (0) | Blog

Hooters Girls Sue Chain Over Uniforms!
Shown here are Hooter's girls with T.R. Annie dressed as a Hooter's "girl" as well. As if wearing a Hooters uniform isn't bad enough, now news is out that some waitresses at the restaurant chain have to pay for their short-shorts, tiny tanks and shiny suntanned pantyhose, too.
Hooters waitresses Gina Rosati and Amy Frederick filed a class-action lawsuit in Brooklyn, NY federal court yesterday accusing the Hooters of Long Island chain of labor law violations, the New York Post reports.
The suit seeks back pay and damages from owners Richard Buckley and Christopher Levano, as well as parent company Strix, according to the paper.
"Hooters of Long Island requires its waitresses to purchase and wear a nationally recognizable uniform," attorney Louis Pechman wrote in the suit, as reported by the Post..
So, what does it cost to dress as a Hooters girl? Well, $19.43. Here's the breakdown: "Dolphin" shorts, $5.45. Lycra tank top, $6. Shiny beige pantyhose, $2.50. Pouch, $3.23. Thick white socks, $2.25. Serving Buffalo wings half naked. Priceless.
Waitresses must share their tips with the kitchen staff, a requirement Pechman claims is illegal. At least 100 waitresses could qualify to collect, adds the paper.
Some would think making employees wear shiny beige pantyhose and slouch socks should be cause enough for legal action....!
What do you think? Is it fair to make the Hooters waitresses pay for their skimpy work wear? Leave a comment! Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (2) | Blog

Would You Date a Shorter Man...?
In this photo statuesque T.R. Annie is shown flashing those long legs with a slightly diminutive date. This is a case where you have a tall "girl", in heels, with an man of just average height. The result is that Annie towers over him - even though he looks like he is quite enjoying himself...!
So the question is - would you date a man that is shorter than you?
- yes of course,
- depends on the man,
- probably not,
- never in a million years.

How to Wear the Boyfriend Blazer!
Can you rock the boyfriend blazer like T.R. Annie is here? Read on to find out! Photo: Getty
Let's hear it for the boys.....!
Fall's biggest trends are all about taking a look at what is in your guy's closet, and making it work for you. First it was jeans, then cardigans. And, now, it's the jacket.
Full of versatility, the boyfriend blazer adds tomboy flair to pretty, feminine styles and toughens up jeans and a simple T-shirt. In the photo here T.R. Annie takes the look even further wearing the blazer topless with latex leggings - how sexy is that.....!
"The boyfriend blazer is a great stylish update to a classic," says Simon Kneen, Banana Republic's creative director and executive vice president. "Women love it because it's approachable and immediately adds polish and style. It's easy to wear and looks good on most body types - so it really has more than one good reason to be successful."
Retailers and style experts were asked for advice on manning up to the trend - here is what they said (from http://www.stylelist.com 20-Oct-2009)
What to wear it with:
- The blazer should be mixed with slim pants or leggings, say Laurent and Arik Bitton, French label IRO's design team. They also say it's always strong to mix opposite volumes -- even if a woman wants to be masculine.
- "Skinny pants or jeans with a soft layering piece," says Banana Republic's Kneen. "Be sure the top is super feminine to balance the masculinity of the blazer. Don't worry if the top peeks out of the bottom – that's cool!"
- Piperlime.com's Jennifer Gosselin says you want to balance the seriousness of the blazer with the rest of your outfit. "Pair the boyfriend blazer back to rolled or cuffed jeans topped off with some fabulous shoes. The jeans make the blazer more casual, less serious and the shoes should add the feminine twist. We love it best with high, high heels – think platform."
- "The boyfriend blazer looks great with so many things," says Jessica Roberts, women's collections buyer for Bluefly.com. "Throw it over a pair of skinny jeans for day, or pair it with a cute mini skirt or mini dress for night. It's also great to wear with leggings."
- All ages can wear this look as long as the fit is right, says IRO's design team. Make sure the size is not too big, to avoid looking too boxy, but also watch out for versions that are too tight or you will look uncomfortable, which is never chic.
- "Look for a sleeve lining that's interesting, like a ticking stripe or a fun pop of color, so you can stylishly roll up the cuff," Kneen says.
- "The coolest versions are the ones with interesting sleeve lining so you can cuff the sleeves and show some menswear detailing, or ruched sleeves for a permanent pushed up sleeve look," Piperlime.com's Gosselin says.
