About This Author

Amy Boshnack has worked in the media since 1996, when she started as a freelance field production assistant for NBC’s WTVJ coverage of the ValuJet crash in the Florida Everglades. She helped launch MSNBC later that year. She stayed in television news until covering the OJ civil trial, the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation, and Monica Lewinsky got the best of her. Boshnack then worked in print, for years, at New York magazine and Cosmopolitan before finally jumping from print to digital. She's helped WEtv.com and CafeMom launch editorial sections and has consulted at both AMCtv.com and BettyConfidential.com. Boshnack is the president of her own consulting business, Triley Media, Inc. and also writes for, and promotes, WhenFallstheColiseum.com. For fun she plays with her two kids and keeps her addiction to Twitter in check: www.twitter.com/aboshnack
