Rumors have been tiptoeing around about marriage troubles between Madonna and her husband of seven years, director Guy Ritchie. It seemed to everyone that the once wild, pointy bra-wearing Queen of Pop had settled down for good with her Brit, with her finding Kabbalah, doing massive amounts of yoga, and adopting little David from Malawi. However, all indications point towards a confirmation of a divorce, with word that she's hiring Paul McCartney's divorce lawyer, Fiona Shackleton. Thus, another celebrity marriage bites the dust. Sad, sad, sad. All relationships and marriages face their challenges, but in the world of Hollywood and fame, there are booby traps left and right from being surrounded by gorgeous men and women, having nasty rumors spread, and over publicized romances.
After the jump, pitfalls that celebrity couples face that us average Joe's and Jane's don't have to deal with. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (246) | Blog

Who's been watching this season of So you Think You Can Dance? Other dancing shows don't hold a candle next to this FOX series, because SYTYCD is about amazing talent, not d-list celebrities who barely have rhythm. We get to know the dancers for their personalities and styles and, just like American Idol, we chose our favorites and root for them. Read More »

Amy Winehouse just keeps on slipping into the vortex of the Talented-Musicians-Who-Might-Die category (others include Pete Doherty and Scott Weiland). Through all the arrests, drunken behaviors, drug use and relationship woes, this blow may hurt the most—she has emphysema, likely caused by smoking crack and cigarettes. For a person whose talent rests on her ability to sing, this can’t be good. An oxygen masks sort of hinders your vocals. Read More »

Regis Philbin is the new host of "Million Dollar Password" this summer, bringing back the popular game show from the 60's. (Anyone catch Betty White on the last episode? Amazing.) This show biz king has no signs of slowing down despite his 76 years of age. Everything he touched turns to gold! "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" was a cultural phenomenon, and he took on the hosting duties of the first season of "America's Got Talent" which is still a ratings winner. Philbin, of course, is most well-known for his “Live” morning show. He holds the Guiness World Record for “Most Hours on Camera,” with 15,662 (and counting) on-airtime logged. If this doesn’t make him amazing, then I don’t know what does. But, there is more. So. Much. More. Read More »

At this year's Coachella music festival, headliner Prince (that little eccentric guy), did a cover of Radiohead's famous alterna-hit, "Creep." Like all good things in this day and age, the video made it to YouTube, except Prince's record label blocked it from being viewed due to copyright laws. In response, Radiohead singer Thom Yorke said: "Well, tell him to unblock it. It's our ... song."
Unfortunately, Prince's cover of "Creep," may never be seen, but here are ten well-known songs that have been wonderfully covered. Some you'll know like Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," others might be a surprise, like punk rocker Ted Leo's version of Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone." Enjoy!

Arrested Development star, Jason Bateman, has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV, to develop shows through his production company, F+A.

I, for one, am extremely excited to see what Mr. Bateman will come up with. Anyone who's a fan of Arrested Development (which sorely was yanked off the tube in 2006) can understand and appreciate the talent of Jason Bateman. He's hilarious. His comic timing is impeccable. And who else could have made the good guy/honorable character of Michael Bluth actually edgy, besides him? NO ONE. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (12) | Blog

The web site for NBC's "Celebrity Circus" reads: " 'Celebrity Circus' is an exciting new series that immerses today's top stars in the breathtaking world of the circus and cirque." Hmm. If by "top stars" you mean barely recognizable names, who haven't made much money since the late 1990's, then sure! Read More »

Who didn't watch Smurfs? It is undoubtedly one of the classic cartoons of the 80's, with one of the most annoying and simultaneously catchy theme songs of all-time. Now it's set to hit the big screen in a live action/animated form a la the recent Alvin and the Chipmunks. Hear that? It's another fond childhood memory screaming for it's life. Read More »

From the rising temperatures to the increased sightings of pit stains to the tragic reintroduction of tube tops, summer has made its 2008 mark. And more than any season, summer has a soundtrack. You don't remember: "Oh yeah, Fall of '88... I really remember listening to that Third Eye Blind song a lot." But summertime? Songs and memories come flooding back. Here's a list of songs that may trigger a memory, are just fun to listening to, or great for driving in your car with the windows down. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (9) | Blog
